*ROUTE CHANGE* Important information regarding the route of next weeks National road race championships - please read!
Due to some concerns regarding the gravel section that had previously included in the route, there has been a decision to change the route so that this is avoided. There is no longer any gravel road sections included in the route.

The race will start in the same place, Kaffi Kjós, and end in the same place. The start will go off in the opposote direction to previous, towards Hvalfjarðarvegur, with the first 4,3km to this junction being neutral. At this point the women will simply turn right out to the previous turn point, the men will turn left back towards Reykjavík for approx' 12km before doing a u-turn.
